HUZZAH CA

6225 acres of mostly forested ozark hills and valleys. The Meramec River, Huzzah Creek and Courtois Creek run through and have access with in the CA. The Ozark Trail will take you to the Narrows, a high ridge between the Huzzah and Courtois Creeks, and the old remains of the Scotia furnace/iron works.

Good populations and hunting of deer, turkey, squirrel and rabbits. Shooting range on site.

WOODSON K. WOODS CA

5628 acres of forested ozark hills and valleys. The Meramec River (before & after Maramec spring) and Dry Fork Creek run through the area. Good populations of deer, turkey, squirrels and fair populations of rabbit, quail, doves. Hiking and bird watching along roads.

ANDERSON & SIZEMORE MEMORIAL CA

Anderson consists of 340 acres and Sizemore 180. The two area are similar and only 1 1/2 miles apart. Anderson is designated as an “Important Bird Area” by Audubon of Missouri.

Deer (archery only), good rabbit, squirrel and fair turkey.
